1920s hairstyles guide – some of my favourites from our 1920s hen parties!

Here are some fantastic pictures of our 1920s hairstyles from our vintage hair and make up hen parties in Oxford, Cheltenham and London! Having the right hair do will really set off your 1920s costumes and add to your 1920s dressing up!

If you have long hair that’s not too heavy, it’s great to pin it up in sections, creating a row of kiss curls. You’ll be remembered at you walk away, it’s lovely to have detail at the back of the hair when your hair is long.

Some of our stylists go for an asymetric look, with waves down one side and curls pinned in an attractive arrangment at the other side. Get our your heated hair equipment, get together with a friend, and DO try this at home!

Incorpor

Incorporate your flapper headband into your hairdo, by pinning a curl over the top.

A very attractive arrangement of waves and pinned curls, with hair up at the back, creates a very ‘set’ 1920s hairstyle. Headband placed over the top.

For an informal wild, 1920s lady of the night flapper look – actual 1920s hairstyles weren’t usually that set!
