This is an event in my calendar that I’m particularly looking forward to!on Thurs 25th November I’ll be leading a Charleston dance class in Cheltenham on a red and black tiled dance floor in a a genuine 20s Art Deco venue: The Daffodil and our Charleston dancers! What’s more, it’s all in a very good cause.
WellChild, the Cheltenham based national charity for sick children is organising this fundraising dinner to raise money for its work of care, support and research with seriously ill children and their families across the UK.
The wonderful 1920s art deco Daffodil restaurant will be the setting for a drinks reception, three course dinner and a dancing demonstration where guests can learn some Charleston and vintage jazz dance steps with a live 1920s band and have the rest of the evening to practice their new moves.
Tickets are £60 each (on tables of 10 or 12) with private booths for six at £75 per person. They are available from WellChild by phone on 0845 458 8171 email events@wellchild.org.uk
Do tell your friends and encourage them to book ticket for what promises to be a glamorous and exciting evening, full of jazz age fun and tapping toes and the best food.
The Roaring Moonshines will be attending, and there may be more than sugary surprises in store for the guests during dessert!
