Here’s a lovely Charleston dance class photo! The girls are danging the hitchhiker, a 1920s dance move. Theses ladies had a grand 1920s day out, a superb vintage hen party in Cheltenham. Their rather grand venue added to the vintage feel to their event and certainly got them in the mood for dancing. When you do this dance move you jump and kick your leg up to the side and behind you, so that the sole of your foot it towards the ceiling. You can hold your arms out like these ladies, 1920s showgirl style, or do a hitch hiking move with your top arm and hold the other arm behind your back!
