It was a sweltering hot day for dancing outdoors in the midday sun, but we did it. Well, actually it was about 4pm. The Roaring Moonshines danced their first Charleston dance flashmob near Reading at The Big Day Out Arts Festival at South Hill Park in Bracknell. We also did a vintage dance class at the evrnt too, a lovely arts festival, very family oriented.
We danced outside the RISC (Reading International Solidarity Centre) stage in the walled garden of this arts centre that once used to be a landed estage.
We surprised ’em, I think, when Happy Feet came on, and at the end of the music we put on our hats and started to dance, right in the middle of the crowd. Happy days! You can see the video here.
